Introduction

Posted by Craig on January 23rd, 2015

My name is Craig Messner. I’m a graduate student at the University of California of Los Angeles studying English Literature.  My scholarship primarily concerns 19th century American literature, as well as the intersection of style and the reading mind, and whatever the digital humanities might be. I am aiming to use this blog as both a repository for academic works in progress, as well as reflections on my game/simulation programming and quasi-academic works that seem as though they have nowhere else they belong.  I’ll be starting shortly with a series of posts on the stylistic implications of Zipf’s Law.

Thank you for visiting.
